Diana's Last Journey Home
To Althorp, where she has become *the Lady of the Lake*
Today Althorp is the Fort Knox of Northhamptonshire. It posts 24 hour security everywhere you step. The death of the most celbrated Spencer almost stopped the world. The stately stable block, one of the most loveliest Palladian buildings in England, is now Diana's museum. The park has its own Lady of the Lake. A tiny central island hosts a sculptured urn, surmounted by a flame. It is Diana's monument. It does not mark the grave, very few know the exact location.
